Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin is an American comedy writer, director and YouTuber podcaster, and advocate for mental health. In the year 2015, she quit her post as a BuzzFeed Video writer to work together with Gabe Dunn and their YouTube comedy channel Just Between Us. Raskin was born in Manhattan 20 June 1989 to an Jewish parent and a father and was raised with her grandparents. She was a student at the University of Southern California, where she received an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts. Jamin Ben Raskin (born 13 December 1962) is an American attorney law professor as well as a politician, serving as an official U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of 2017. The law professor served as the prosecutor at Trump's second impeachment trial. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided not to seek Maryland's vacant Senate seat and will instead seek reelection in the House and hopes to become chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. The 8th District lies near Washington, D.C., comprising some of the wealthy suburbs, including Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac. There are also a number of ethnically and racially diverse communities, the largest of which is Rockville and Silver Spring. Maryland is one of the 13 states that were created in America.
